| Michigan is the home of several covered bridges. This one is in Ada, Michigan. Ada is small town about 12 miles east of Grand Rapid on the west side of the state. The original Ada Bridge was built about 1867, it spans the Thornapple River. After a renovaton in 1979 the bridge burned and was completely destroyed. The good people of Ada rebuilt the bridge. |
