Frankenmuth, Michigan
Frankenmuth is truly one of Michigan's great tourist destinations.
Settled in 1845 on the banks of the Cass River by German emigrants.
Frankenmuth has continued to hold true to its German roots, the townreal old world feel to it.
Anchored by its three most famous attractions, the Bavarian Inn , Zehnders, both the Barvarian Inn and Zender's are famous for their chicken dinners as well as many traditional German favorites and Bronner's "the world largest Christmas store".
Frankenmuth also has dozens of shops lining its main street.
So take a day trip or maybe spend a couple of nights. Frankenmuth is great family fun.
